Mike O’Reilly to Lead Commercialization of M3D Technology for Printable Electronics Applications

Albuquerque, New Mexico 16 June 2006: Mike O’Reilly has recently joined Optomec to lead activities to commercialize M3D technology for printable electronics applications.

O’Reilly joined Optomec in April after establishing an independent product management consultant practice working with Fortune 500, SMBs, and venture backed startup companies. Prior to his consulting practice, O’Reilly was Vice President of Product Marketing at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., System and Functional Verification business unit, where he was responsible for $200M in annual product revenue. “We are very pleased to have Mike on the Optomec team” said Ken Vartanian, Marketing Director at Optomec. “M3D technology and our strong partner relationship have enabled us to demonstrate the potential for cost-effective solutions that meet a wide variety of advanced manufacturing needs in electronics and life sciences applications.
